After you put an item in your basket on the first tab, if you go to the second tab and -- before adding the new item to the cart -- reload the page, does that tab now show that there is already an item in the basket? You can reload the page using either:

• Click the Reload button on the toolbar or press Ctrl+R (re-uses cached files if possible)
• Shift+click the Reload button on the toolbar or press Ctrl+Shift+R (forces a fresh load)

Thank you for your fast response. Tried: "Before adding the new item to the cart -- reloading the page" worked. But, here's the thing, when i buy products from another site, the cart updates as soon as a place a new product to it, without having to reload their page. So the question is why it wont do this automatically like some of the other pages?

That is a good question, and it depends on how the page works. In particular, is it receiving messages from the server in between page loads. Maybe there is a setting or add-ons that prevents that from working?
