I no longer get notifications on my task bar showing I have new mail using Firefox
I no longer get notifications on my task bar showing I have new mail while using Firefox. Do you know how to fix such thing?

Check that Gmail has desktop notifications turned on. Go to Settings > General > Desktop notifications. I'm not sure if it's a session (stored in current browser only) setting, so check that it's on every time you log in. Firefox may ask for permissions from Gmail to allow desktop notifications. Turn it on, and make sure that desktop notifications in general are allowed in about:preferences#content

Do you have any of your email tabs open or any other addons that provide you with new mail notifications?
I guess yes. I keep open tab with my gmail account.
