When Firefox does not display images - I use Edge
It is sad that I need to deviate to Edge to have a site be displayed they way it was meant to be.
When visiting sites, Firefox may sometimes be blocking contents, such as images. e.g. http://www.techrepublic.com/article/if-you-like-k-9-mail-youre-gonna-love-this-email-app/ the images under ("Figure A", "Figure B", etc.) are not displayed, at least that is with me.
In such cases I use Edge.
Now, it may(!) be possible, by a. searching on sites like these (Mozilla support) b. and with a lot of clicks c. and spending way too much time
to solve such issues.
Then again, I said MAY ! ... as even 'solutions' may not always work and one needs to spend even more time to find yet another solution solving the issue why the first solution didn't work.
it is much quicker then to just use another browser, which is a sad thing.
Indeed, there is no question here, just an observation and me getting rid of frustration. (Sorry folks)

Sir, you can check here to fix your problem.
Works for me. It is possible that some JavaScript is involved with loading the images.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure such extensions do not block content. There is security software that can interfere with loading content, so check that as well.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains. You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions".
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
- Select the first image and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
- If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Check permissions.default.image on the about:config page to make sure it is default (1).

Thanks.
The chapter 'Check image permissions for a specific website' in the above guide helped me out.
Clicked on [ Site Identity Button ] then disabled Tracking Protection
that helped. disabling add-ins, such as AdBlockPlus, that did not work.
As long as tracking protection is disabled the images will show up even with ABP enabled . . .
