Fire Fox sometimes fills in a password automatically. Sometimes a repeat is required or I want to know the password. How do I find it?

hi billroth79, it should be possible to inspect saved passwords through the security tab in the firefox options: Password manager - Remember, delete and change saved passwords in Firefox

Note that details like websites remembering you (log you in automatically) are stored in a cookie. You can delete such a cookie to make the website forget about you.

You can toggle the signon.autofillForms pref to false to prevent Firefox from filling the name and password automatically. You need to double-click the empty name field to get a drop-down list.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
