I can't find the Help tab to see which version I'm in. Where is the tab?

I need to be able to find which version of Firefox I'm in, at any given time. One help source I found via Google said I should "click Help and then select About MOzilla Firefox. The browser version will be displayed in the information screen." But I cannot find the Help tab. Where is it?

There seem to be far more layouts possible these days than there used to be. Your Firefox is out of date - you may still have the orange Firefox icon in the top left hand corner; Help is at the end of the list; About Firefox is at the end of the Help List. Now, most people will access Help via the question mark in the Three Bar icon. Or, right click in the toolbar space and check Menu Bar. When shown, Help is at the end of the Menu Bar. To get a more precise answer of your version go to Options>Advanced>Updates>Show Update History. I don't do keyboard shortcuts but I believe the previous Help method doesn't work anymore. Someone may be able to bring us up to date.

Hello, in firefox 32.0 you can see in which version you are from 3-bar menu button > Help (question mark) and select About Firefox (as correct said alan_r above).

Now if you like type about: in your location/address bar and you can see the version you have also. :-)

thank you
