Hi Naganjaneyulu , So the browser is closing in the middle of the session and resetting Firefox does not help the problem. Can you please try the following:

  1. The next time this happens, when you reopen Firefox, start it in Safe Mode. Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox
  2. If it closes in Safe Mode, please take note of what site what open when this happened, or what you were doing in the web page when it closed. If this is the case it is not a Firefox Add on that is causing this issue.

However, please also troubleshoot the extensions, themes and plugins:

It may be the Firewall or Antivirus as well that is closing Firefox. If you temporarily disable Mcaffee or any other antivirus, or firewall on the computer and the issue stops, please configure them to allow Firefox to continue.

I hope this helps find the culprit!

Hi Naganjaneyulu ,
Sorry you are having problems.

When you say Firefox is closing automatically I wonder what you actually see.

  • Are you seeing a message saying Firefox has crashed ?

Is the whole computer closing down or crashing ? if so it may be a Windows problem or for instance the computer overheating.

Is the problem a Firefox Crash If so Firefox will normally try to give you a message saying it has crashed and the rest of the computer will keep working. (I may be slightly different if you are watching FlashPlayer videos).

If you are getting a Firefox Crash we will need a couple of the CrashIDs they are obtained by navigating to about:crashes and looking for the Crash IDs commencing with bp-

CRASHES

In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and paste them into your response here.
