Since updating Firefox, nothing happens when I click the search button on any url
the search bar doesn't work on the new updated firefox. After I enter the name of any website and click the search button, nothing happens . I updated only yesterday, but have not been able to launch any searches. The bookmarks work fine.

You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update as necessary:
