some text links are displaying as a 'strike-through' rather than a normal underline

I installed the latest version of Firefox, V4 a few weeks ago without problem. In recent days, though, I've noticed that many text links, when viewing a variety of sites, are displayed as a strikethrough rather than the normal underline style.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

In Firefox 4 Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
