Since Denys locked an ongoing thread on me, here is my reply.

Mozilla Firefox or Firefox for short is a web browser and not a search engine. A search engine is for for example qwant.com. duckduckgo.com, google.com etc.

- In /questions/1595954, James explained that Firefox is not a search engine, but a web browser, which lets you use the search engine you prefer (such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.). And amoun shared how settings that let you choose your default search engine look like.
- In /questions/1595955, you mentioned a taskbar icon. Could you please explain how it is related to the topic?
