can not use home depot with firefox

I can not log in to home depot website because it won't send me the verification code. No other website gives me this problem and I can log in with Chrome.

How can I fix this?

Now I can't login to several more websites using Firefox however, I can login to all of them with my Chrome browser.

I poste this problem back in April but haven't gotten any help.

Is there some way that I can contact support directly.

thanks, mike

Usually for sign–in issues, esp. involving any security codes you need to get in touch with the site operator, as only they know what measures they take and how they evaluate the visits.

From the browser side of things, you can only make sure there's no stale data that the sites saved previously, and e.g. try signing in using a new Private Window to see if there's any difference.

Here are some standard troubleshooting steps that may resolve the issue:

  1. Start with clearing Firefox cache.
  2. If it does not help, try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
  3. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.
  4. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon in the left part of the address bar. If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
  5. If nothing from the above helps, try creating a new Firefox profile and check if the issue persists there. If it doesn't, you can start copying files from your old profile to the new one to identify which one causes the issue. See this article on what files to copy.
