Does it happen all the time or only when you run Firefox?

If it happens all the time, that might be a problem with your video card.

No its only in Firefox

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

That looks like a pop-up not able to load.

Have you tried my other suggestions?

Yeah but that doesn't solve my problem ether.

Does this always come up? Or just on some websites? Safe mode didn't help?

more options

It's on all the googeling pages and YouTube.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

I just downloaded it yesterday so I don't have any extensions and I'm using the original theme
