why has firefox gone so difficult to open , got to sign in every time i open fire fox followed all the instructions but nothing works so gone over to opera ,if someone could give me step by step instructions i will stay with opera , please help.

You do not need to register or sign into anything to use Firefox. At Mozilla we believe the web should be open for people to use and do not require you to open any kind of account with us to browse the web.
You may be seeing prompt for Firefox Sync, a service that allows you to transfer bookmarks and other data to (typically) Firefox for Android on a mobile phone. This is not a mandatory service and you can quite happily use Firefox on your desktop computer without it.
