I have firefox 34.0 on Ubuntu 14.10. Before I start ... this all used to work just fine :) If I try to print an invoice from ebay it comes out with distorted text in the body of the invoice. The top line is just fine. I have tried reseting the config print_printer option, run in safe mode, and created a new profile. No joy. Printing works perfectly in Chrome.

Any chance of anyone replying to this? I'm getting quite frustrated with this problem! I have also changed the fonts being used in <preferences>. No difference in printing.

What I really need to figure is if this is something ebay is screwing up or firefox.

I've attached a part of the bad printout from a pdf file. Cut to protect all my important secrets.

For me its like a font missing or corrupt. I used to run Ubuntu and can remember it was a bit tricky printing sometimes, usually because the pdf had a font spec in itself that didn't correspond to Linux. You said its a pdf there are other ways to print a pdf that might work. Wish I had my old pc here so I could try it.

Thanks for the note. I'm going to mark this as solved ... but I really would love to know why. I think it is okay since my distro upgraded firefox from 34 to 35. Mind you ... it could be that ebay changed things. Honestly, I have on idea. But it worked today! Hurrah.
