I updated my Foxfire today and lost all my bookmarks... I have tried to restore (and I can "see" the backups), but I get the msg "Unable to process file"... Thx
I can find my "profile" folder and "see" the recent backups in that folder - but the restore function does not seem to want to accept ny of the old backups...

i had a bookmarks problem about a month ago.
did you try this. close out of firefox.
search your files for places.sqlite find it right click & copy.
open firefox. under bookmarks paste (assuming you have no new bookmarks)
click show all bookmarks
go under import & backup under restore & see if its to the right of the arrow.
if not go into choose file. & you should see a list & your bookmarks file should be there. make sure its a JSON file & click open.
your bookmarks should be restored.
I am on a Mac... And I cannot seem to find a file entitled "places.sqlite".... I can find the folder that has all my backups going through "Troubleshooting"... But I canot seem to "drag" or "copy & paste" a recent backup into the "Bookmark Library"... Any other thoughts?
