While Norton Toolbar is shown as enabled in the add-ons mgr, it is not listed under View>Toolbars so I can have it "show" - what to do?

I notice that you are in permanent Private Browsing mode.

  • Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

You can also check for problems with preferences
