the app has disapeared from my laptop. I've tried reloading the download but keeps asking for donation so i donated $25 and still cant access a download

The Thunderbird setup may have downloaded to your default folder to download to instead of giving a prompt on where to download it. https://www.thunderbird.net/download/
The donation is a optional support and not required in order to download Thunderbird.
