some web page drop down boxes don't work
FF 115.27.0 esr Desktop Win 7 Pro 64 bit. I regularly use a web site where the drop down box and other link do not work. https://nypost.com/us-news/. Nothing happens when click on the "Section" drop down at top of page. When get to the bottom of the page and click "See more stories" nothing happens. The web site works fine if I use Chrome on this pc and when I use FF on my Win 10 pc. I have tried disabling add-ons, start FF in Troubleshoot mode, refreshing FF, and disabling Tracking Protection. About the only thing I have done is remove FF and re-install. Any ideas?

Are you running any security software? I have Win7, let me boot up and see what happens.
Hi,
Please try clearing Firefox cache and clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website). Does it help?
I omitted in my post but yes I have tried that.
The only AV software I use is Microsoft Security Essentials
I'm not dev, but I'm able to replicate the issue in the same of Firefox version on Win7. Looks like it's too old for this site. It works in newer versions of Firefox on Linux. Let me see what happens on Win11
Modified
Works in Win11. see screenshot

I imagine that it is a problem with older SW. When jonzn4SUSE replied it reminded me that I had tried it on another Win 7 pc and it did not work. I believe that it is a FF issue since the web page works fine on this pc when I use Chrome. Since my FF is esr and soon to be unsupported I doubt FF will fix it. Getting closer to having to switching to Win 10. uggg

Get with the times old wise one. eBay has great newer laptops(my tech of choice) with with win10 or 11. Could be time for Linux.
Hi jonzn4SUSE,
Could you please report that on WebCompat? We have experience of resolving a Win7-exclusive issue with Twitch.
