I have used Mozilla for years...am now 80, had to move to senior housing services, and first now have been able to get back onto the computer....and I am lost and can not access email or the Firefox site.....

Firefox browser doesn't have email software and Firefox browser has a default installed page setup. You should ask for help at your location for setup issues.
I had to use edge to change password onmy spectrum account. I was then able to chang my password on a popup thunderbird email window and have access to spectrum webmail again on thunderbird
