Somehow Bing has become the default browser when I launch Firefox. I do NOT want Bing anywhere on my computer or in Firefox. How do I get rid of it?

I believe you are referring to search engines. Go to Settings > Search then Default Search Engine and change to the engine you want as default. Further down the page under Search Shortcuts, select Bing then click the button labelled Remove.
