Hello I just received the new version of thunderbird 78.10.1 on wednesday. Since then, it takes over 5 minutes for TB to fully appear , and its very slow. I am using the latest version of Win 10 as far as I know, that's automatic download . Hope you know of this already. Thanks - Peter

I'm not sure if this is the same issue but since installing 78.10.1, TB is very sluggish with frequent Not Responding displays. I've tried a Global Rebuild, deleted *.msf files and reduced the size of my two largest folders all to no effect.

Hi Sounds like the same issue to me. Its taking forever to boot up ....

Mine doesn't take long to start up but almost immediately I get Not Responding messages and really sluggish behaviour. I might try rolling back to a previous version to see what happens.
