I'm using Firefox on a fresh installed Windows 10 Pro (64-Bit) on a ThinkPad T560. After Installation, Firefox worked fine. Suddenly it crashed. Not it crashes directly after start. Crash means, that the Crash Report tool starts.

Crash ID: bp-d5068cc3-c9de-4aac-bb43-60a772161219

If I start Firefox as admin, it doesn't Crash, but every tab Shows a "this tab crashes" notification.

I uninstalled Firefox already and reinstalled it. But it crashes already at first start.

How can I fix this issue? Do you Need some more Information?

Thanks for your fast answer phillipp, I think a found the source of the problem. I moved to an older backup of my system and reinstalled a lot of tools. After reinstalling robosizer, firefox crashes and emClient as well. It's reproduceable that firefox stops working at the point where I start robosizer. If I quit robosizer, firefox works like a charm. Does this information help? Best regards Andreas

hi Andreas84, thanks for providing a crash report id. unfortunately the crash happens quite early at startup, so the crash report might not contain all the data necessary to troubleshoot the issue.

we saw a spike in these crashes since december 3rd, so we suspect there is an external cause to those. could you try a couple of things:

thank you!

Your crash report shows you have

EasyHook32.dll = Bins or TrustPort Antivirus NOTE: Some web searches claim ad/malware

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

more options

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen or hold down the Shift key) to see if that has effect.

I ran two different anti-malware applications. None found something.

I think the problem was due to incompatibility with robosizer. Thanks.

Image Resizer is removed and evertything works fine. So I don't know what to do within the Safe Mode. I will close this issue.

Best regards
