I have iMac Yosemite. I just downloaded Flip4Mac and updated Quicktime. Is the Windows Media Test supposed to have sound? I got a countdown, but no sound.

Which test page are you using?

You talk about a countdown, so I think you are on the new test webpage (it was refresh very recently): http://www.vdat.com/techsupport/windowstest.asp You should indeed listen music when this video is playing.

Banban .. thanks for responding.

I'm getting the video, but no audio. (YouTube plays fine on Firefox). I used the test webpage you cited. The sound slider on the video is all the way up. Nothing wrong in System Preferences 'sound.'

Any other suggestions welcome.
