I need to access my old Firefox settings and bookmarks

My imac late 2015 running 10.12.6 Sierra crashed yesterday and on rebooting I noticed that my Firefox browser had disappeared. I was asked to reinstall with a new Extended support Release 115.34.1esr which I did but now I have lost all my bookmarks and access to my Outlook account. Is there a way that i can retrieve the lost settings?

Hello,

A Firefox profile stores all of your important data, such as your bookmarks, history, cookies, and passwords. If you've lost your Firefox settings, bookmarks, or saved passwords after updating or reinstalling, you might still be able to recover them from an old profile.

The article Restore bookmarks, passwords and data from an old Firefox profile explains how to locate your old Firefox profile and copy important data into your current one.
