I want to know how to go back to the previous page when i hit the back button on the navigation bar instead of going all the way to the original start page, I have trie suggestions like the Backspace ket and the left arrow key but they don't work. would like to know if i can get it to work like it used to.

Thank you

Hi Lou, if you right-click the Back button before doing a normal click, can you see pages that Firefox seems to be skipping over when doing a normal single left click? Or does it look like Firefox is not recording every step you take in that tab?

Sites can use various techniques to manage back-forward navigation, so individual sites can definitely be more problematic than others.

Thank you very much, you have no idea how much time I spent looking at every setting in Firefox trying to find a setting for this problem. I'm really glad you replied to my question because I was getting nowhere. my next step was going to be getting another browser to replace FireFox which I have used since Netscape days

Thanks again Lou
