Excessive RAM usage

Hello. I and a friend of mine are having trouble with firefox, it seems to be using excessive ammounts of ram as pictured. I only had two tabs open and two addons installed when I took that screenshot. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi Randy, your screenshot didn't upload. You can attach it to a reply using the "Browse" button below the box.

More generally, the Windows 10 Task Manager has a Details tab where you can see the Process ID for each instance of firefox.exe that is running. In Firefox, you can use an internal page -- type or paste about:processes in the address bar and press Enter to load it -- to compare Firefox's list of processes against Windows. Is there anything running that your Firefox doesn't know about?
