i am running Windows 10 on my laptop / Alienware R15, brought it new, it came 8 Gb of memory. I recently upgaged my memory to 16 Gb. and that is when my Firefox browser started crashing. i have restarted the browser mainly times. I even started in Safe mode and it still crashes. can you give some advice.

1. Run Memtest on that laptop.

2. Is that all new memory, or is it a mix of what came with it and additional memory added?
If the latter, perhaps the new stuff is mis-matched with the existing memory.
