Master password prompts multiple times

In the latest version I am being asked for the master password prior to FF opening. It pops up the window three times (always 3) when I have nothing else open. It is very annoying to have to enter my password in succession three times. It has gotten to the point I don't want to use FF any longer.

Are you using any password add-ons/programs?

I am not using anything other than the master password. This is prompting me prior to even opening the main browser.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

You have the StartupMaster extension installed and this extension is likely the cause of this issue.
