Hello

I use Firefox 54.0.1 on MacOS Sierra 10.12.05

I open Developer Tools / Network Tab. I try to edit and resend some XHR request, but when I click Send, the "Edit and Resend" section just closes and no XHR is sent. This used to work few months ago, but now it doesn't and I always hoped it will be fixed with new releases but nothing, so decided to report it.

Please see screenshots

1st screenshot - I click on Edit and Resend button 2nd screenshot - I click Send button on top right corner 3rd screenshot - The Edit and Resend part just closes without sending the XHR again

Hello there, I have read it along before my report here, and there is no much info about the "Edit and Resend" functionality. The issue is still there, and I am waiting for a resolution.

Firefox is ahead compared to Chrome with this feature, because Chrome doesn't let you change XHR, with chrome you can just repeat an XHR. So this is why Firefox should fix this as soon as possible.

I did some research, and found exact same issue, which occured 2 year ago, here is one of the links, hope this may give more details.

You can try this : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

Note the Refresh as that will be the next thing to do if above does not work.

Next version is 55 to be released on or about Aug 8th.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
