You have Chromecast for Android, but not for Windows. When (or will) you have an extension for the web browser?

Thank you

Hi

Thank you for your question.

I have done some research on this one and have found some information from one of the more experienced members of our community.

Chromecast is a Google product that uses closed software (as opposed to Firefox, which is open source). Firefox for Android can case to Chromecast as it can make use of the Chromecast software in Android.

I hope this helps explain what is happening.

Thank you for the info. I suspected that was the case.

I don't think you answered my question. I want to know when (or if) Chromecast will be available on Firefox as an extension?

Hi

It could be, but this is much more likely when Google opens up the technology.
