You can't remove build-in root certificates.
You can edit the certificate and reset the trust bits to prevent Firefox from using them as a root certificate.

Stored intermediate certificates show as "Software Security Device" in the "Security Device" column in the Certificate Manager.
You should be able to remove those certificate.
Firefox will however store intermediate certificates if you visit a web site that sends them.
