I had this problem only for a few days but it's very inconvenient of not able to access my mail from Firefox. I don't think this is relate to Firefox or Yahoo Mail, so I decide to do some research. I found a strange entry in my Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs, called "Anti-phishing Domain Advisor". Guess what! After uninstall it, I was able to access Yahoo Mail right away from Firefox. Now, you may not be able to find the exactly program like the one I got in "Add or Remove Programs", but my example should give you a direction to look for. Good luck for house cleaning! :-)

I had the same problem. I uninstalled Panda Cloud URL Filter and now I can login to my Yahoo mail account.
