Constant freezes after a few seconds while trying to fetch message
Long time Thunderbird user. I really hope to be abled to solve this. My Thunderbird freezes after a few seconds while trying to fetch messages.
things I tried unsuccessfully:
- delete the sql message index
- create a new profiles with just one email adress of various mail providers
- delete AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird and reinstall thunderbird
I am at the end of my wits here

- Please start *Windows* in safe mode with networking enabled https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode
- Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in Troubleshoot mode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-mode-thunderbird
Does problem go away?
no same Issue, also with all add-ons and acceleration off
