multiple users on desktop

We have one desktop with two users. Previously, we were both able to have individual/different Firefox bookmarks in the toolbar when we each logged into our separate desktop accounts. Now, Firefox is only showing one persons bookmarks on both desktop accounts at sign on. How can we get back to our own individual/different bookmarks on Firefox?
