I am trying to reinstall my Thunderbird email account after my computer was disabled. Microsoft has enabled my computer, but I do not know how to properly re-install my email account. I just now installed Firefox. I have a Thunderbird password and have given that when instructed, but it is not being accepted. I need my email account up and working and I don't know what to do. I am an old woman (88), so don't get too high tech with me!

Hi pamelaorr, can you indicate who your email service provider is? For example:

Thunderbird is a separate program you can use to access most kinds of email accounts, but I think the first step is to verify that you know your email username and password by logging into the email service provider's website and using their online mail interface ("webmail").
