My Recently Bookmarked folder has disappeared. How can I get this back? I am using Firefox 64.0 When I bookmark a page, it goes to Other Bookmarks folder instea

I deleted some old bookmarks from my Other Bookmarks folder. Then I went to bookmark a page and it added the bookmark at the end of Other Bookmarks. It is then I noticed my Recently Bookmarked file was missing and I don't see it anywhere. Can I get this back? I have Firefox 64.0 and Windows 10.

You should see a "Recently Bookmarked" section if you click the Library (bookshelf) icon on the Navigation Toolbar and then click Bookmarks to open this sub menu.

"Recently Bookmarked" is a so called smart folder that shows the results of a places.sqlite database query.

If you want to restore this folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar then you can create a new bookmark.

  • Name: Recently Bookmarked
  • Location: place:folder=BOOKMARKS_MENU&folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&folder=TOOLBAR&queryType=1&sort=12&maxResults=10&excludeQueries=1
