when i used to click on a new tab it used to say blank and i would type in google or whichever site i wanted and now my tab say about home and it goes to mozill

my tab used to say blank and now when i click tabs it goes directly to a moziila page.I want it back to blank.I went on change tabs and i choose blank and mozilla still comes up

hello ceecee73, please refer to Customize your Firefox New Tab page in order to switch off the preview of your most visited pages when you open a new tab.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
