Firefox updates deltes ALL bookmarks, add ons etc. Can not restore profile
I opened FF this afternoon and it op0end like a new first time install- asking about setting up some damn profiles and showing news, AI, weather and crap I do not want or use..
I can not seem to restore it. All bookmarks, PW, menu bars and links are now gone.

Same, I lost all my bookmarks as well as suddenly my firefox browser updated itself. I tried all the restore backup methods but it only has the default bookmarks in those backup files. I really need them back.

Hi NSN, Like you ZIP response from any Mozilla support.
In the end I recreated all for the bookmarks (that I could remember and use regularly). Fortunately my password manager was not FF so I had all of the log-in credentials once the URL links were recreated.
I too lost all of my data and now I come to the support site to find the buttons one language, the headings another language and some actual english scattered around? If that isn't an indictment on the current state of firefox? Going by the other queries, I'm not going to find a solution here. Perhaps it's just time to move on.
