I was using my web browser and I tried to load a pdf on word. The Mozilla asked me to sign in and all my bookmarks and history was gone. A VPN was up in the tip right hand corner appeared that I had never seen before. I have no idea how my original homepage disappeared and all my bookmarks with it.

Ok, so I dont use my computer that much, but anyway. I get on it today and this "create a profile" pops up. once I get in to firefox Everything is gone, my history, passwords, bookmarks, addons.

WTF happened???????

I had a Firefox session open and had maybe 50 tabs open. I am not signed in and have the browser set to restore previous session every time it is opened. When I last updated the browser, my laptop crashed and turned off before the restore session had opened the previous window. When I restarted it, it was gone and I accidentally closed that window too. This meant the next time I opened it, it restored THAT session and not the one with all the tabs I had accumulated (but not saved or bookmarked). The problem is that some of those tabs had been there for a year or more so it's not possible to fond them in my history folder. Is there a way to restore a PREVIOUS previous session in Firefox or are they gone forever?

My computer shut down. I turned it back on, and the browser was completely updated. Nothing! I'm panicking. There's not a single backup anywhere. there is no folder on the desktop «Old Firefox Data» I don't know what to do I tried to restore bookmarks, but the list only showed other browsers.

I keep losing all my saved passwords in my Firefox browser when I get a Windows 11 update, Why and how do I recover them and prevent them from being deleted when there is Windows 11 update? thank You

Logged onto my laptop this morning, just like every other morning. Firefox opened as if I had never used the browser before. Asked that I sent up a new profile. Could not access my existing profile. I can't find files anywhere on my computer with the information. If I open any of the old Firefox folders, I get a new set-up. Is there anyway to recover my bookmarks and passwords? Not feeling like this is a very secure product right now.

Yesterday I updated IOS on Macbook Air M2 to Tahoe 26.3.1. Today I had a problem with wallpaper and was in the middle of a conversation with apple when I accidentally closed the firefox browser. When I opened it and went to history, it did not have any of my history since the upgrade?
