When using Google Meet the sending video feed is cropped and much lower quality

I have recently switched to Firefox, from chrome/edge and I love it. One thing that I cannot get over, however is video conference quality. I call my parents every week and we use Google Meet. The video quality on my end is not only limited to 720P on Firefox, but it is cropped and grainy. It is really bad. I cannot use it. I've tried everything I can think of, but I can't fix it. I don't know if there is a way to submit direct feedback to Firefox, since the link to their feedback site leads here, but I wish they would improve this.

There's a "Report Broken Site" functionality right in your menu: How do I report a broken site in Firefox desktop?

If your issue is not covered by bugzilla.mozilla.org/1431543 already (e.g. similar bugzilla.mozilla.org/1984132 in past) feel free to file a new bug if you can reproduce this consistently, it will get in front of the right people directly.
