I'm hitting an intermittent failure that I believe is related to Local Network Access (LNA) enforcement, and I'd like help confirming whether this is expected behavior or a bug worth filing.

Environment

Firefox 159 (problem does not occur on earlier versions I tested)

Page origin: public hostname

The target hostname resolves to 100.93.28.9 in my environment (corporate VPN / internal DNS). That address is in 100.64.0.0/10 (CGNAT), so Firefox classifies it as a local/private network target.

Symptom

Firefox shows the "local network access" permission prompt for this site.

I have granted permission, including checking "don't ask again for this site."

Despite the saved permission, requests succeed sometimes and fail sometimes.

When they fail, the console shows a mix of NS_ERROR_NET_UNCLEAN_SHUTDOWN, NS_ERROR_NET_RESET, and occasionally NS_ERROR_NET_PARTIAL_TRANSFER.

On `about:keyboard` I rebound 'Full Screen' from F11 to Ctrl+Shift+F. This works for opening full screen, but it doesn't work for exiting full screen; I have to use F11 to exit.

I can't find any other setting for exiting full screen mode, so I assume this is simply an oversight by the devs, but if not, I'd appreciate help figuring out how to rebind exiting full screen as well.

I have been to several sites recently that have failed to allow for filling of fields, registering the filling of the field and/or just failed to even show the fields. What is the issue and/or setting that is causing this problem. Because I have chrome, but would rather not use it for day to day events, but have to have it because of these issues. The most recent problem is a state government website and it would not proceed to the second screen no matter what I typed into the fields or how many times I clicked "I freaking agree." https://provider.dlbc.utah.gov/ccl/payment-gateway. The email me button here on this submission will not register a click image inside the box.

I'm running mac os Tahoe 26.6.2 on Macbook air. Message from Apple "Intel Based apps not supported update to silicone version". Followed steps on Firefox help page to download Mozilla VPN version but VPN version won't open. When I click Mozilla VPN in the application folder, I am directed to the Mozilla VPN page with the download on it. Then it's hanging up on a pop up (see attachment) saying Waiting for Subscription Verification.

Recently, my workflow has shifted heavily toward modern, resource-intensive web applications (such as large, stateful AI chat platforms, complex dashboards, and heavy documentation tools) that handle massive amounts of text and DOM elements over extended sessions.

While Firefox’s multi-process architecture is generally robust, power users often have to resort to tweaking hidden settings in about:config (such as adjusting process counts) to prevent performance degradation, memory management friction, or sluggish re-rendering during heavy, long-running tasks.

It would be fantastic to see more accessible, user-facing performance profiles or advanced resource-management options directly in the Firefox settings—for instance, a dedicated "High-Performance" or "Power User" mode for heavy web apps. This would allow users with high-end hardware (such as 32GB+ RAM systems) to explicitly allocate more resources and processing power to specific tabs or workloads without compromising the stability of the rest of the browser.

whenever I try to set a passkey in mozilla, the windows security popup appears. I have looked online about turning it off but I cannot find anything. For example, I cannot set my passkey for my gmail account because the popup and gives no other options. When I select 'try another way', all they want is my password so the passkey does not get set.

When I attempt to install the Recommended Theme, Proton, a message appears that states: The site would like to install an add-on in Firefox - Proton. What is this add-on all about? Is the source of this add-on the e-mail provider, Proton Mail? Why is an add-on bundled with this Recommended Theme?

Yesterday I could not load spectrum.net or my spectrum webmail (I have gmail but mainly use webmail). I called spectrum and they said clear your cache on Firefox, which I did and then it worked. Today I ran into the same problem and tried clearing the cache again. I used Firefox private window to view my webmail (both yesterday and today) but I couldn't log out today; spinning circle (I closed the window and could log back on the next time). Yesterday I could log out using the private window. I don't understand what is going on because I didn't have this problem just several days ago. Thank you.

Forgive me, I'm not very tech savvy, and besides that I'm a Mac user, so basically tech-illiterate, but I'll do my best to describe this.

I'm running Firefox (which I keep updated pretty regularly; currently 159.0.1) on a MacBookPro from 2012, currently operating MacOS 10.15.7 (Catalina). I use a trackpad the majority of the time. One finger to move the mouse, two fingers to scroll the page.

When scrolling up or down on a very long webpage, the first scroll goes at a steady pace, the second scroll (in the same direction) goes at an identical steady pace, and the third scroll (in the same direction) *rockets* me all the way to the bottom. Or top. Whichever way I'm going.

This can be very difficult to work with when trying to reach somewhere in the middle of a long page. Or if I just want to go at a stable, predictable speed. (I don't mind scrolling a few extra times to get through a particularly long page.)

I have tried toggling so many settings in the "about:config", turning off acceleration, setting things to zero, but nothing I have tried has been able to turn off the RocketScroll. Would be very appreciative of any suggestions. Please let me know if there is any more information I can provide to solve this issue.

The previous Firefox "Share" menu was very helpful. It presented a number of options for sharing a website. I used it all the time to send websites via email. It was very simple — click on "Share", select "Email" from the drop-down menu, and a new email would open in Thunderbird with the title of the website in the subject area and a link to the website in the text area. Very handy.

But now (I assume as a result of a Firefox update) to get to "Email" I have to go to the "Share" drop-down menu and click on "Airdrop, Messages and More..." (see attached) and then select "Mail" in a small window that appears (see attached). Clicking on "Mail" opens a new email in Thunderbird but unlike previously, the new email has nothing in the "Subject" area (although thankfully, as with the previous "Share" process, the text window does show a link to the website being shared (see attached).

This doesn't make sense to me. The previous "Share" was a quick and easy one-step process, and now it's a more cumbersome two-step process, but the real annoyance is that the subject box of the new email is blank, so one has to go through the process of copying the name of the website or the news headline or whatever, and then pasting it into the new email's subject box. All this seems to be retrogressive. Is there a reason or reasons for the "Share" process to have been changed? And might Mozilla be persuaded to change it back?

How to stop windows hello sign in to get on my laptop, which I read can be associated with my Firefox browser. The standard procedure from Microsoft and AI don't work as when it says to click on certain sections, like account or click enter or Configure Auto-login Type "netplwiz" in Start menu search Bypass manual password entry at boot --NOTHING works. Only options I've been offered is to switch to Linux and drop Windows.

I almost downloaded Firefox to my computer but it said it was the wrong one and could be corrupted.. It had dear.dmg in it so I need to download the official Firefox so that I have a browser that will work with my older system.. thank you..
