Try to use keyboard shortcuts if the buttons on the web page or other methods aren't working.

• Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert (Mac: Command + C)
• Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (Mac: Command + V)
• Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete (Mac: Command + X)

Ctrl+V doesn't work. The field is disabled. You can't drag in a link either. Nothing you can do to paste.

Did you try "Shift+Insert" in case there is a script that intercepts the Ctrl key?

What does it show in the Inspector if you right-click this field?

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the Inspector ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer) with this element selected.

Paste button and the right click paste and Ctrl+V all work in other areas within Firefox, it is just not available specifically in WhatsApp fields. Although you can type, the cursor in the field is invisible
