Adblock plus addon appears to be causing adobe flash to crash - this is new.

Flash crashes occur only with Firefox. The suggestions to correct this described in Mozilla support did not help. It doesn't occur in safe mode.

Adblock blocks ads. It should not effect the player unless it's an ad.

Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <web site>.
