I am trying to add my Android phone as a device to Firefox. I initially invoked the code scanner next to the search bar, but got a message saying that the code had to be scanned from within the Firefox app. So I installed the app and followed these instructions entitled "Connect Another Device".

• If you haven't already, install Firefox on your mobile device. • Open Firefox on your mobile device. • Open the menu, tap Settings and select Turn on Sync. • Scan this code:

There is no Turn on Sync option in the Settings menu. I have looked in every menu item that appears even remotely related to syncing with a QR code or adding a device and come up empty.

I found this exact issue in two existing questions, but neither of them had ever been answered, which makes me less than confident that mine will. If there is a Turn on Sync option in Settings, and I just overlooked it, please explain step-by-step where I can find it. If there really is no Turn on Sync option, please provide an alternate method of adding my Android phone.

I downloaded a large filed in my Firefox Browser and it took me 2 days to download the file but when it's almost done, it suddenly failed download. Can you help me resume the download? I think it stopped around 60 gig.

I had a Firefox account on my phone. I got hacked. So I uninstalled the Firefox app. I got the upgrade for Lookout and added that to my phone. I opened a new Firefox browser on my PC because I was tired of Google and I don't like Bing. I would like an upgrade with Firefox on both PC and phone if I wouldn't have to pay for both devices. Would that cover both PC and phone? They are not linked, but they do share 2 emails and passwords. I also would like VPN, if that would secure my wifi. But I need a network that I can use for all my internet needs. I don't know what all VPN does. Please help me out. I don't know what to do anymore. It's all gotten so confusing. I'm tired of being hacked. Please advice. I trust, you, Firefox and I want you on both devices can we do this?

All of a sudden, Twitter will not let me log in on Firefox (Windows 11 laptop). It works on my phone, tablet, and other browsers. When I try to log into Twitter on Firefox, I get an error saying "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later. " I have already tried updating the browser, clearing my cache, and clearing my cookies and I'm still having the issue. What can I do to fix this?

When i open up https://login.comptia.org i can see the website and it loads then it prompts me to login, but when i click the login button the website goes blank and turns all white and i refresh the website and it stays white. I have cleared all cookies and cache, and i have also refreshed firefox.

Hi. How do I give permission to Firefox to open a webpage? There seems to be a firewall issue or something? Please provide the exact steps to allow a URL to be opened with my permission. Using Firefox on desktop, Windows 11. I am a long term Firefox fan/user.

My problem is I cannot find anywhere an easy method to add a shortcut on my Home Screen (which has now been a FF feature for some considerable time).

I am sure there was something available to do this in a prior version some time back. If I search the internet, I only come across articles describing how to do it on Firefox Android.

I know I can manually edit a box on the Home Screen to create what I need.

Sometimes new web sites that I visit appear in the boxes and I can then pin them in place - but the behavior around this is very erratic and unreliable - seems like random chance for an icon to appear on the home screen for a newly visited site. If this was more consistent, I could work with that.

BUT - where is the **intuitive** option??!!

I should be able to right-click on a tab and select "Add to Home Screen".

As simple as that.

Or drag and drop a link, or tab to the home screen - but this just opens the link. I have tried everything obvious that I can think of.

On opening many websites I think they've created a new trick - dropping to the bottom of the page so you have to scoll through all pages to get to the top - is there a way of preventing this?

Firefox password support automatically interferred with an attempt to set up an account with a provider. How do I get that password and how do I prevent Firefox from automatically adding passwords without my permission?

I went into about:config and changed the following values in order to widen the scrollbar:

css. scrollbar-width was true changed to false idget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override was 0 changed to 100 widget.non-native-theme.enabled was true changed to false

Changing these values didn't widen my scrollbar. Without getting into coding, is there another way to make the scrollbar wider? (I changed them all back to the original settings when they didn't work.)

When accessing Conect.firefox.com, there is a popup error at the top that says, Authentication Ticket Mismatched, failed authentication. regardless of what I do, the warning doesn´t go away. I´m running Firefox 100 on Win 11

Hi there, I've noticed some minor but annoying problem with browser vertical maximization.

When I vertically maximize browser by dragging upper form line to the top of the screen, upper and lower side of browser form are snapped to top and bottom of my screen. If I close browser in that (maximized) state, next time when I open it, whole browser form isn't snapped top and bottom anymore. It is slightly moved up. It would be great if this can be fixed soon. Like I said before... it's not big deal but it is little bit annoying and degrading whole user experience with browser.

I am using latest Firefox and Windows 11 Pro. 2K monitor resolution 2560 x 1440px

My laptop had to do a restart and I have about 10 pinned tabs and I went to open firefox and they are all gone. I've tried to do the restore session but they aren't popping back up. How do I get them back???
