I cannot remove PriceGong from Mozilla Firefox. Have tried add/remove programs, the add on tab and even had Norton take control to try to remove it. Help!

I'm running Windows on a PC and the latest version of Mozilla Firefox I don't know how I stumbled into PriceGong but it is hidden very well. Norton tech spent an hour with control of my computer and gave up. I've tried all of the usual things such as add/remove programs, checked add ons and extensions

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
