Chosen solution

First, please update to Firefox 28. The version you are using is horribly out of date and insecure. Update Firefox to the latest release

Second, try the solutions at Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware

Finally, Change your home page How to set the home page

Deleting all cookies & firefox's temporary files resolved the issue for me (at leastthere wasn't anything for the last few hours).

I don't know where it came from, spybot S&D didn't detect it, processes and firefox settings were okay too... Had an older version (27) too, but it was still there after the update.
