hello, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by malware on your pc. please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

thank you for your reply..have not found anything that looked wrong or unwanted,, I did do a complete malware scan..nothing..there are no add-ons showing just extensions which appear ok //I'm pretty sure what site this came from but they refuse to admit or have any of there techs take it off from there end.. what it has done is actually put me somewhere else...it's actually showing on the far left side of my home page,,,PA..telling me I have to sign in but...they wont let me,..any more ideas?? this is so crazy and I'm not real computer savey..thanks again
can you try if a reset of the browser will address the issue?
I will try anything.. will this lose anything ? or just reset it to default? as I said ..not real good at all this ..but thanks
your bookmarks & passwords will be kept after a reset but most of the other customizations of the browser will be reverted to the default state.
