Firefox is hanging when i try to log-in to ebay.After the hang,i have to restart because neither Firefox or IE6 will start.
Each time i try to log into Ebay,i enter my username/password and Firefox hangs.Just does nothing at all.I have to restart my laptop to be able to browse after this.It is definately Firefox related as it is fine with IE6. I have disabled all add-ons,removed them all,un-installed Firefox,re-installed and still the problem persists.Tried safe mode but still does the same thing. Windows 7,Firefox 17.0.1.

Problem is caused by Trusteer Rapport software. You could either turn it off and wait for them to release an auto update, or completely uninstall it and then download the latest version from their website (latest is 1207.40).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
