how do I stop add-on compatibility check on start up? Also I can't change my home page, it always returns to MSN!!!

Hi LawrenceC,

Are you saying that every time you start Firefox is checks for add-on compatibility and you can't change your home page?

If that's the case, you should look at the article How to fix preferences that won't save. It sounds like Firefox can't write to the pref.js file.
