Printing to edge of "paper" in Print to File (linux)
I'm using OpenSuse 11.4 and Firefox 10.0.1.
I'm trying to eliminate the margins when using the Print to File feature. I've tried created a custom page setup with no margins, I've tried going in to about:config and changing the print.print_edge_... print.print_margin_... print.print_unwriteable_margin_... print.printer_Print_to_file.print_edge_... print.printer_Print_to_file.print_margin_... and print.printer_Print_to_file.print_unwriteable_margin_... all to zero, but this is having no effect. I still get a big thick white border around the page.
I need to be able to print right to the edges (or at least the background) but nothing is having any effect.

Hi,
Please also try changing the Page Setup options of Print to File after selecting the format.
There are no Page Setup options for Print to File, just the real printers and "Any Printer". I've been modifying the settings for "Any Printer" in Page Setup.
Or did you mean Page Setup in the print dialog? What options do you suggest changing in there? there are no options to do with margins or borders.
You can try to set the Paper margins in Page Setup > Paper Size > Manage Custom Size.
Like I said, I've done that. No effect.
