Every time I start Firefox, the following tabs open:Welcome to Firefox;Mozilla Firefox Start Up Page;google shortcuts have been successfully installed;lastPass Release note;Welcome to ReminderFox!!! I had installed all of these on the previous release of Firefox, so don't understand why they are appearing. I have tried setting my homepage to Google, but that disappears every time I open Firefox!! I am now using Chrome, but would prefer Firefox. How do I get rid of these???

I put my home page in the proper place, signed in to Last Pass, re-downloaded the google toolbar, and opened ReminderFox. Closed Firefox, opened it again, and all the tabs opened again, even when I clicked on the URL to come here!!! It looks like I may have to delete Firefox and load it again. I don't know what else to do. I have tried everything. I have been using this program since it was Netscape, and I BOUGHT the program in the mid 1980's, and have never run into any problems like this!!

Go to Tools-> Options -> General: for Home page list whatever you want. That will become your opening screen when you start Firefox. I use http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en, which I populate with lots of gadgets from the choices available: NYTimes, Reuters NPR for news; stock market quotes.....
